New feature: Fresh Fridays!

We love everything local, but sometimes it’s fun to get inspiration from outside of the Red River Valley. Our lovely friend Amanda, who is a co-creator of the blog spamous.com and adores everything about weddings, is going to round up a list of inspiring+fun links for you each Friday! It’s our new weekly feature called Fresh Fridays with Amanda.

Real South Caronlina Wedding: Grace + Jamie: An amazing backyard wedding, certainly an event for all ages!

Beautiful Saja Wedding. These lovely flowing dresses would be perfect for a destination wedding, too. (Click on Collections at the top of the home page)

Speaking of wedding dresses, Once Wed offers the service of buying/selling used wedding dresses. Literally, hundreds of dresses from almost any designer!

Mary + Stefan: Very non-traditional bridal party attire! Although it might not be for everyone, I think it’s super stylish and unique.

Tweethearts! How darling is this? The world’s longest married couple, Herbert and Zelmyra, would like you to tweet your questions to them or post questions on facebook, and on Valentines day they will answer 14 of them and share their relationship advice.
Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher - He’s 104, she’s 101, married 85 years!

SHE WON! – I heard foot steps rushing down the hall outside my office. Then, my door flung open. I’m pretty sure that in just one leap she landed at my computer to open her email and show me the message. Intern Amanda enters contests constantly, and it’s paying off. She just won a honeymoon trip to Anguilla! (Her advice is to apply for as many contests as you can, especially on The Knot, which is how she won her trip.)
